Hello! My name is Radu Solomon and I am the Centre Manager at Hollywood Bowl in Preston. I am thrilled to be part of this incredible team as we prepare to open our new family entertainment centre within the Animate complex.

What are your responsibilities?

In my role as Centre Manager, I am responsible for creating an industry-leading environment for both our team and customers. My goal is to ensure that every customer has an outstanding time, while also fostering rewarding careers for our team members.

This involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring high standards of service, and creating a fun and engaging atmosphere that aligns with Hollywood Bowl's commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences.

What do you love about your job?

What I love most about my job is the growth culture and the focus on customer experience that we aim to bring to each of our venues.

Even though my journey with Hollywood Bowl has just begun, I have already had the pleasure of meeting some incredible team members who are as passionate as I am about creating memorable experiences for our customers.

I feel supported and motivated to deliver a fantastic experience at our Preston centre, and I am excited to contribute to our company's vision of providing the best entertainment experience.

Hollywood Bowl will be opening a new centre within the Animate complex in Preston, as part of several new centres opening this year. Why was Preston chosen as a site for the group's expansion?

Preston was an ideal choice for our expansion due to its vibrant community and rich history.

The city has a dynamic and diverse demographic that aligns perfectly with our ethos of providing great value family fun. Additionally, Preston's ambitious vision for the future and its ongoing developments make it a fantastic location for us to introduce our brand.

We are excited to become a part of this thriving community and to contribute to its growth and vibrancy.

How many jobs will be recruited for in the local area?

We are proud to announce that we will be creating around 30 new jobs in the local area. These positions will span various roles, including management, facilities, bar, diner, reception, and games-keeper roles that maintain our amusement area.

We believe in investing in the local community and providing meaningful employment opportunities by welcoming talented individuals to our team.

What kind of experience can Preston visitors expect within HWB at the Animate complex?

Customers of Hollywood Bowl Preston at the Animate complex can expect a unique family entertainment experience. Our £2.9 million centre is designed to bring affordable fun and healthy competition to the city.

When we open our doors in March, customers will be treated to a taste of modern LA with our state-of-the-art facilities.

The centre will feature 22 ten-pin bowling lanes, cutting-edge amusements, and a fabulous bar and diner. Whether you're looking to enjoy a friendly game of bowling, indulge in delicious food and drinks, explore our exciting amusement area, celebrate birthdays or work events, Hollywood Bowl Preston promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for families and friends alike.
