Made in Preston - Sold to the World

22 November 2023

Whether you are new to exporting or already established and want to grow your business, come and find out how we, North and Western Lancashire Chamber and the Department for Business and Trade can help you.

Whether you are intent on exploring international markets and new audiences, or increasing sales from existing markets, Preston City Council is delighted to invite you to this event to help you expand your reach and drive export growth.

Exporting can be profitable for businesses of all sizes. On average, sales grow faster, more jobs are created, and employees earn more than in non-exporting firms. The United Kingdom is known worldwide for high quality, innovative goods and services, customer service, and sound business practices.

Teams from The Department for Business and Trade and the Chamber will talk you through accessing support, exploring worldwide opportunities, and the challenges of exporting; ensuring that you're prepared to fulfil your global growth ambitions.

There will also be an opportunity to network with fellow companies from the area.

This support is part of a UK Government supported programme International Trade Support for Business through the Preston UKSPF.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government's Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
